IA Interview Schedule

Please check the IA Interview Schedule for your allotted time. Please make sure you arrive to the Art Room at least 10mins before that time.
If there is a problem with your time, please let Ms. O'Leary know ASAP.

IA Interview Preparation

All discipuli should prepare talking points for the IA Interview. You are your own advocate! Speak to the criteria on the rubrics. Make sure you touch on all of the criteria in relation to your art and process development. Study the rubrics and know how to achieve a 4 in each criteria.

Be aware of the Automatic Grade Drop for work not completed.

You can also use the following IA Preparation sheet to help organize what you will say.

Please remember that, although it is called an "interview" Ms. O'Leary will not ask you many questions. You should know what to say.

Welcome to IB Visual Arts!

Welcome to IB discipuli!

The International Baccalaureate and The Brooklyn Latin School are proud to offer an intense two-year course in Visual Arts. This space will act as the forum for discipuli to receive course updates and share resources (web-based and around the NYC community). Please check back regularly for the most up-to-date information.

Another important aspect of this site is the declaration of each discipulus as the amazing artist that he/she truly is. We will share our experiences and works of art.

I'm looking forward to working with everyone over the next two years. Hopefully soon you will blog about your art, experiences, events and findings in the arts.
