Term 4 What Needs to be Accomplished

The following is expected by the end of Term 4 (see corresponding dates):

Finalized Studio Pieces (Due: May 26):
HL: 9/9 Work of Art
SL/Seniors: 6/6 Works of Art

Investigation Workbook Pages (Due: May 26):
HL: 30/30 pages
SL/Seniors: 16/16 pages

Exhibition Visits (Due: May 26):
HL: 12/12 (4 in immediate neighborhood)
SL/Seniors: 12/12 (4 in immediate neighborhood)

Artist Statement (Due: first draft May 12, final draft May 24):
HL: 2-3 pages
SL/Seniors: 1-2 pages

Wall Identifications (Due: May 26):
HL: 9 (one for every work of art)
SL/Seniors: 6 (one for every work of art)

Exhibition (setup May 26, dismantle May 28*):
HL: Display of 9 finalized works of art, investigation workbook, artist statement, and wall identifications
SL/Seniors: Display of 6 finalized works of art, investigation workbook, artist statement, and wall identifications
2nd Year Seniors: Display of 12 finalized works of art, investigation workbook, artist statement, and wall identifications

Online, Digital Portfolio (Due: June 4):
HL: Digital Posting of 9 finalized works of art, 30 investigation workbook pages, and wall identifications
SL/Seniors: Digital Posting of 6 finalized works of art, 16 investigation workbook pages, and wall identifications
2nd Year Seniors: Digital Posting of 12 finalized works of art, 20 investigation workbook pages, and wall identifications

Postcard for Discipuli Exhibition

Call for Submissions!

We need to produce a postcard to publicize the TBLS Discipuli Visual Art Exhibition.
Discipuli are invited to design a postcard (4x5").
Please submit designs by April 14 via email to Ms. O'Leary (koleary52@gmail.com).

A design will be chosen by April 16 and published by April 19.

Portfolio Presentations

Portfolio Presentation Dates.
Please prepare a 10-15min presentation on your entire portfolio (all final works of art) and process (investigation workbook).
On the date listed below, you will be expected to present on your portfolio and process. This will be your opportunity to practice speaking about your work and research. This will also give you the chance to hear what your peers think.

This presentation will have no direct impact on your course grade.
